Geocomposites, which have a wide variety of types, are composite materials that are formed by laminating a geotextile to one or both sides of the geonet and are generally used for drainage, filtration, and protection purposes. It is designed as an economical alternative to conventional open-graded aggregate and/or perforated pipe underground drainage systems, both in terms of labor and material cost.
